33 UV detection

43UV detection

Figure 33 : This single UV chromatogram with one polarity test (in clock position 12:00) and three compare samples - left / down / right is an example for the power of µ-PLC in product comparison analysis. There is no doubt, that the three samples at clock position 4:30, 6:00 and 8:30 differ qualitatively and quantitatively. This clear result is based on the following: there are comparable sections in each of the three just mentioned samples. These are not single spot data. There is no doubt, that the substances within each sample differ by quantity so strong, that we do not need a multi integrated quantitation. If the analyst knows for sure, that he prepared three samples exactly equal by masses and solvents and that he sampled quantitatively equal amounts (+- 2...4% rel.) and volumes - and in case he has been informed, these three samples are “equal” products,  he and even non analysts see: something is wrong. The three samples cannot have the same product name. They come from differing producers or sources for sure, 100 %. NOTE: here we have only one single analysis but with multiple information for each single sample.
The NOT equal result has 100 % safety. Only circular chromatography with partial overlapped sampling provides this type of 100 % safe result in case the sample differ detectably. In figure 33 they differ !
