Figure 52 : ONLY if the calibration value below and above the
measured substance signal differs only by a very few relative percent the non linear calibration line can be treated as LINEAR - these are the few percent of quantitative analyses where a linear interpolation is possible. Reason: the non linear interpolation  shows versus the linear interpolation errors which are smaller than the uncertainty of the calibration line in this range of data.
